open.rar.2 is a nonlinear interactive piece for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and electronics. Each time the piece is iterated the form is constructed from a bank score segments and computer generated accompaniments according to a generative algorithm. The generated score is presented on the computer screen as the piece advances and the performer interprets the score segments according to density and repetition indicators. The computer accompaniment is created from wood, stone, and earth samples organized along several timbre continuums.
